A man called me racist because I don't want penises in women's spaces

Discussion on a GC pal's FB page. A man told me I'm a racist misogynist because I don't want biological men in female spaces, because it's apparently no different to racial segregation.

It's rare I'm lost for words, but I am now...

This is so true! A toddler will easily win against an adult because toddlers scream. But they aren't really winning.

I opened this thread thinking this was going to be one of those arguments about how the sexual binary is a colonial construct, because of course other societies conceived of gender in precisely the same way as TRAs today do. But, no. Sounds like someone who doesn’t understand the meaning of common words and concepts.

Racism. The clue is in the name - it’s about race. Does he know what that is? And is he the kind of person who also thinks - leaving trans issues aside for a moment - that feminism is a movement for everybody, about everybody. Because, again, the clue is in the name.

As for the idiotic ‘why do you hate trans people?’ question, the only answer I could possibly give would be to ask what I’d said or done that implied any hatred.

Sometimes races want the right to exist seperately.
The Welsh want to be able to learn their own language and exist as a seperate group in culture as opposed to being dominated by English culture; the people of Hong Kong do not want to be dominated by China, women want a space away from male violence and do not want their boundries eroded.
