Hadn't seen the tennis ad though, that's pretty bad.

My youngest has owned up to eating all the teacakes which prompted an anguished “I didn’t even get one!” from my eldest. You and me both, pal. Youngest was unrepentant and asked if could a caramel wafer to round things off. 🤔

TwinklyBranch: there are still quite a few people with YES stickers on house windows and cars in my area over 7 years later . No voters were too afraid to display support for the status quo in the first place and were just relieved...and moved on...and got on with their lives.

I would stock up on Tunnocks.

However, I have bought a box of plain chocolate covered teacakes from Waitrose every week for ever. Except odd weeks during the first lockdown when they were having problems like all supermarkets.

However they have not had any for over EIGHT WEEKS

I have filled in their feedback form with this specific item highlighted.

It is no good getting the milk chocolate ones there, because they are cheaper in Home Bargains or you can get a big box of 10.

So when I find another supermarket that sells them I will be getting them there.

A friend of ours got married in Bothwell a few years ago and one of the highlights of the trip was our walk into Uddingston to the Tunnocks Tea Room. Was a great weekend all round.

We also have been buying Tunnocks every week, we've rediscovered them, I can't believe I forgot how good they are.

At my work the office manager has suddenly started buying boxes of tunnocks for snacks in the staff kitchen.

I didn't know the significance but we buy Tunnocks caramel wafers all the time anyway. I think M&S tea cakes are better than theirs but I may switch now

On Today R 4 yesterday one of the journalists said almost under under his breath something about Tunnocks .... kind of a coded message?

I love Tunnocks! They sell them at my new work! But for £1 which is an outrageous mark up. Still, we all had a discussion about our love of Tunnocks and no one mentioned any kind of cancellation 👍

Agree the tennis ad is disappointing though

Tunnocks have gone from the occasional treat to a weekly staple here. 😉 Caramel wafers are my favourite.
