London Stock Exchange to be closed on Monday by CEO of Trans in the City

So apparently it’s Trans Awareness Week next week and Bobbi Picard, CEO of Trans in the City is going to close the LSE on Monday to kick start the week.

A cursory look at Bobbi’s Twitter feed reveals sharing tweets that Prof Stock is transphobic, sharing tweets criticising the recent BBC article, sharing a tweet promoting free binders.. you get the gist. And Bobbi is also a Stonewall Housing Golden Champion (whatever that is).

Trans in the City offer free diversity consultancy services to interested organisations.

Why do the LSE think that this is ok??

I'm not sure I believe this claim. (that LSE will be closed) I can't see anything on LSE twitter or website.

Where does it say LSE will close?

I presume it's as finish trading on a given day?

Same as opening by ring a bell in NYC

Another awareness week? Didn't we just have one?

I just Goggled the London Stock Exchange but couldn't see anything about them closing on Monday.

Bobbi is perhaps of a fanciful turn of mind?

And women get one whole day a year and we can’t even have that to ourselves
