Hello
I remember reading there are some good web-sites for families whose relatives are trans gender and want to steer away from medical interventions whilst still a child.
Could you let me know what they are, I have a friend whose nephew is going through this
Thanks

Hi refusetobeasheep

I think what you are searching for is support groups and sites for those who want more than ‘affirming only’. Particularly now advice does seem to be going against experienced clinicians offering only affirming treatments and instead to further exploration or simply watch and wait.

Try

Bayswater is a support group.

Transgendertrend has some good UK based sources

genspect.org/genspect-founder-stella-omalley-on-gb-news/

With Stella OMalley who is a child clinician. This is an international group which includes detransitioners being involved.

segm.org/

Is informative.

Those were the two I was thinking of - thank you! Have passed on the details.

Stella does podcasts as well if that is any help.

Here's a new resource just announced by Sasha Ayad in a Benjamin Boyce interview:

GETA - Gender Exploratory Therapy Association
