Came across the LGBTA Wiki today which has a huge list of genders including

Large, Lemondemongender. Roundgender and catgender to name a few.

Surely this can't be real?

(Although I very much identify as catgender and may go by the name catgirl from now on)

Who knows. I think I will adopt nominal gender. So I will be zebradaniogender.

This is all just too much effort for me, it seems anyone can coin a gender identity, so I will be Firegender. I burn everything in my path.

Apparently you can have any gender.

The only thing you can'tdo is declare that you don't have a gender identity. They don't like that.

The question shouldn't be whether these genders are real. The question should be whether they're meaningful. They're not, of course.

I don't mean whether the genders are real. I have my own opinions on that. I mean is someone having a laugh or is this a genuine resource that people are taking seriously?

LGBTA Wikia seems such a comprehensive, useful site.

As well as being able to chose between thousands of sexualities and genders there are resources on all sorts of everyday topics. Transchildren, pd***, bondage, asphyxiation, diaper fetishism etc.

Out of 7.9 billion people in the world, at least one felt Large, Lemondemongender, Roundgender and catgender should be on the list strongly enough to add them.

The original contributor of, say, Roundgender may have felt a deep innate and abiding Roundgenderness, or may have had a transient self-image as Roundgender that they no longer feel and haven't thought about the entry they left behind, or may just have been taking the piss.

However as yet no one has felt strongly that they need to be removed.

That's probably as much meaning as you can take from it.

I don't think that's an either/or question. I believe the answers are "yes" and "yes" (see also Stonewall, Mermaids, or any LGBTQZ org).

Lemondemon gender? Is that a demonic lemon or a lemon flavoured demon or someone who absolutely loves lemons? Or maybe a demon who is often left alone at parties?

If you don't feel particularly demonic, you could be smoothiegender, it incorporates the fruit but leaves out the demons.
