The kids school is getting a bit of a pasting on twitter / the media and it's the most validated I've felt in ages! Grin (All Boys Wear A Skirt To School Day Because Reasons).

Will it change anything? Doubt it. But it feels good to hear people saying what you've been thinking silently for years. Pity 'people' in this case is GBnews / DM etc, but I guess beggars can't be choosers.

In all honesty I didn't even give the 'event' in question much thought because it seems so inconsequential in the grand scheme of all the nonsense going on. They have nine year olds coming out as bisexual demiboys for christ's sake. Nine. Bullying, racism, sexism, ableism all absolutely rife, but they do love to pat themselves on the back for how good they're doing with the T. And by T I mean confusing the hell out of nine year old children to the extent my five year old is re-explaining basic concepts to them.

This turned into a rant, but it wasn't supposed to. Years of tongue-biting and frustration and finally a glimmer of validation all coming to a head I guess! Brew

People are waking up Grin

A primary school facilitating this needs a swift Oftsed with a deep dive into the boundaries they're setting and their safeguarding policy. You have my sympathies if you're a parent itsabouttimee.
I'd urge you to report this to Ofsted as a potential safeguarding issue.
