From Twitter via the Telegraph.
🚨 | NEW: The Department of Health has ended its involvement with the Stonewall diversity scheme

It's behind a paywall. It's today at about 4.58 pm.

Can anyone confirm before I do a victory dance?

Looks like they pulled out in February so I'm not sure if this is new news?

My phone is dying as I queue for a Covid booster so I'll just post a couple of screenshots OP. Smile

Sorry for the duplicated post - the screen shots didn’t show initially

Stonewall is becoming the dirty uncle that the family thought was funny and quirky but have now got wise to his squeezing knees under the table.

They are all trying to distance themselves while pretending they were never laughing alone with him the whole time.

In ten years time they will denied they were ever members of sw dc. Even when faced with the pics of them with rainbow flags all over social media.

NICE and any health VCOs, NGOs need to follow suit with this if they're involved with SW.

next.... The NHS

Datun · 02/11/2021 18:54

The scheme assesses the use of pronouns and access to single-sex spaces in participating organisations in return for a fee.

Yes, yes it does.

Stonewall believes transgender patients should be admitted to “wards and facilities which match their gender”.
But Sajid Javid, the Health Secretary, personally intervened and vowed to review current policies after an investigation by The Telegraph found that trust guidance included placing sex offenders who self-identified as women on female-only wards.

Honestly, I've been at this six years, but reading that still makes me reel.

Fucking hell. What a load of fucking women hating crap we've had to put up with.

LukewarmCustard · 02/11/2021 19:40

Progress. I remember posting this www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/3705528-New-NHS-guidance-on-same-sex-accommodation?msgid=90559233

Masdintle · 02/11/2021 19:55

Is this in response to the Baroness's letter, perhaps? For Sajid Javid to intervene personally?

HerewardTheWoke · 02/11/2021 20:31

This is progress towards reasserting women's sex-based rights in healthcare, but it isn't enough. NHS England (and Scotland, Wales, NI) also need to end their association with Stonewall, and so do all the DoH ALBs and individual trusts.

And all the other gender ideologue orgs that hang around the health service need to go too. Organisations need to stop outsourcing policy and start thinking for themselves how to fulfil their responsibilities to their service users and staff.

PrawnofthePatriarchy · 02/11/2021 20:41

Yet more good news! Smile

donquixotedelamancha · 02/11/2021 20:44

Yet more excellent news :-)

Given how many organisations have left, big payers too, I wonder how long it will take before Stonewall start to change their approach.

Clearly not under this CEO or this board, but they can't carry on forever if we keep going at this rate.

Well done everyone, keep pulling!

ScreamingMeMe · 02/11/2021 20:53

Oh wow, great news.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 02/11/2021 21:27

Good news. And now to get them out of schools. While they're peddling their pernicious "puberty blockers are great, TWA magically W, girls are bigots if they want single sex toilets changing rooms and showers, we've got generations of young people not only believing in gender woowoo but with critical thinking skills impaired by the fear of voicing reasonable expectations of privacy, dignity and safety from the opposite sex when vulnerable.

FlibbertyGiblets · 02/11/2021 22:10

I am expecting to be scolded for saying about fking TIME, Sajid.
More of the same, please, Government.

senua · 02/11/2021 22:30

Be fair. He's only been in the job for three months!
I'd say that it was lightning speed for a Government department.

Actually you are right, so I'll take my bollocking on the chin!
