I’ve finally read this wonderful book by clementine ford.

She’s Australian and I’m an ex Brit living in Australia but her work has global significance and relevance.

Please read.

She's ace.

Didn't know about the book, thanks!

I'd not heard of her, sounds like it might be particularly relevant for mothers of boys? The blurb on Amazon is:

The incendiary new book about toxic masculinity and misogyny from Clementine Ford, author of the bestselling feminist manifesto, Fight Like A Girl.
Boys Will Be Boys answers the question Clementine Ford is most often asked: 'How do I raise my son to respect women?’
With equal parts passion and humour, Ford reveals how patriarchal society is as destructive for men as it is for women, creating a dangerously limited idea of what it is to be a man. She traces the way gender norms creep into the home from early childhood, through popular culture or the division of housework and shines a light on what needs to change for equality to become a reality.

She's been outspoken about sex > gender for years. An early and massive target.

She is now woke as woke. She did receive much abuse from men but now she is full on TRA.

NiceGerbil · 01/11/2021 01:42

Is she?

Bloody hell. Any links? Going to Google.

I was aware of her a lot but it was maybe 5 years ago. More even.

I'm wondering now if I remember wrong and it was just her general feminist views that got her so much shit.

I'm surprised given her general views that she is gender > sex. But there you go.

I followed her on Facebook and then she began spouting the ususal drivel and blocked many followers as the were "transphobic" for failing to believe people could change sex,

This book is more focused on mothers of boys yes but fight like a girl is another read for balance.
