It’s amazing that this thread cheers on Burchill, who was forced by the courts to apologize for her vile bullying of Sarkar, while knocking Watson for wanting ethically sourced clothes. That the latter is what’s seen as worthy of condemnation really says something
You have completely missed the point here.
Ethically produced clothing is available if you have the money to pay for it. It is complete nonsense for Watson to say
I’ve always had this huge problem. I would love to wear garments that are ethically sourced, but there aren’t enough options for me to be able to do that realistically
Like Watson I want clothes and products which are ethically source. To that end I probably spend far more on individual items of clothing than the average MNETTER probably does. I don't buy clothes supermarkets or the high street and almost everything is made in the UK, France or the Netherlands. I don't have a fraction of Watson's wealth but the vast majority of my clothes are ethically sourced.
I was criticising Watson's vacuous virtue- signalling- not her wish to buy ethically sourced products.
