I work in a secondary school as an English teacher, surrounded by woke teenagers and non binary bollocks (literally).
I am going in a full Handmaid's Tale red outfit tomorrow.
Because
a) I am bloody terrified of that - much scarier than being a goblin, or Dracula.
b) being a witch just pisses me off. All those vilified and tortured women.
And
c). Haaaaaaa!
They will think they know what I think and just how full on terftastic I am. But they can't really criticise an English teacher dressing as a character from a well known book.
Last year I told everyone that I identified as a well known (male) writer and dressed accordingly. Not naming as too outing.
Anyone else got similar plans?
