The lack of transparency is beyond troubling and if it continues we'll find ourselves committed to impenetrable policies and laws in a general environment that compels totalism of thought and language.

We're being funnelled more and more towards living in an authoritarian framework. Whatever restrictions we feel now are nothing compared to the constrictions that are waiting for u.

My admiration for Maya grows and grows - how Maya wrote that amid all the brouhaha with Margaret Atwood deciding to prove her credentials by retweeting errors and slurs about her - she's remarkable.

Whatever the outcome, this case needs to be known more widely because we should all find it alarming for its challenge to the democratic process we thought that we understood.

In 2020 Maya submitted a Freedom of Information FOI request about Gendered Intelligence training judges.

The Ministry of Justice MOJ refused the FOI

Maya complained to the Information Commissioner ICO, who agreed with the MoJ to refuse the FOI

Maya took the Judicial College, the Ministry of Justice and the Information Commissioner’s Office to tribunal and is waiting for the judgement.

wonder how long Maya will have to wait? will they be told to answer the FOI about lobby groups training judges?

This case is so important, I really hope it gets sunlight in the press. People need to know what is going on behind the scenes.
