So they avoid referring to the baby as a boy but still adopt boy's pronouns. Isn't that totally assuming the baby's gender? Shouldn't they be using singular they/them/theirs?

Is it not satire? Both at the ridiculousness of how people announce the sex of the unborn baby and also at the whole pronoun things "baby has a penis, therefore baby is a boy"

Wow. So now the word "boy" is avoided and instead they choose the crude "our baby has a penis". So wrong.

Do they say "our baby has a vagina" if it's a girl? Can you imagine Granny's face when you make that announcement 😳

But how will they ever tell which gender they are when all their little friends don't know either? How will we explain to them how to tell? How will they know which part of their identifying with someone is due to matching gender and which part is due to having a similar sense of humour and shared interests?

Honestly I'm starting to feel like vomiting every time I see something like this. Don't they realise how ridiculous they sound.

I'm no expert but I don't think you can see a vagina on a sonogram? So this wouldn't work for a girl.

I am not entirely convinced of the authenticity of the post, I'm just not sure which 'side' would come up with it, and the fact it is on Turning Point UK makes me even more uncomfortable.

It seems to be playing into the hands of someone, I'm just not sure who. (Google lens is bringing up nothing at all.)
