Good news about Tunnock's teacakes

What a wonderful excuse to add chocolate tea cakes and caramel wafer biscuits to my next grocery order.

Turnocks are in my basket for the next shopping delivery.

They do coconut things called Snowballs. DD when through a phase of loving Teacakes so I saw the Snowballs and decided to try them. I bought a HUGE box because it was on offer. Every other member of my family decided they were vile and I found them irresistible. So I ate them all.

Very importantly, WHERE can I get the coconutty wafer thingies??

A pop-up ‘cookie policy’ amused the hell out of me.

I want to go to Bothwell Castle now- the kids always do a "we're not worthy" bow to the factory as we pass!

I had a PLAIN. Chocolate Tunnocks wafer earlier today. It was gorgeous. I had no idea I was munching in solidarity with the LBG alliance.
Tunnocks are legends.

Teacakes just added to the online shop for tomorrow.

Beamur, they also do a dark chocolate version of their teacake, in a blue and silver wrapper, and it’s scrumptious.

All this talk of Tunnocks has reminded me of then toddler DS making a beeline for a plate of them and stuffing one in his mouth whole with the foil wrapping still on it. If he was a dog he’d be a Labrador.

I looked on the Sainsburys app and they don’t do logs or snowballs. 😔

Just ordered some in solidarity!

I once, briefly, thought my dog had testicular cancer. It was after a family birthday party and I picked him up and discovered a large, flesh-coloured lump on his genitals. Upon further, panicked, investigation it turned out he'd managed to get half a Tunnock's Teacake stuck to the side of his balls and he'd licked most of the chocolate off.

That's the funniest thing I've read all day!

I watched the video on the Daily Mail link above. Calling the delegates Nazi scum.
The mail gave a definition of a gender critical person as someone who believes in biological sex which I thought was good. Most rational people would be gender critical.

Teacakes are overrated. Caremel Logs are the best.

Not fussed about the teacakes, and the snowballs taste slightly chemically to me these days, but I loved them when I was a kid. The dark chocolate wafers (the ones in the blue wrappers) are a fixture in my online shopping basket though, and I was bereft when there was that period when they couldn't be had for love nor money.
