Another for the Never Happens Annals

extract

An Amazon driver is facing serious charges after Wrentham Police say he took pictures of women and girls in a bathroom at the Wrentham Outlets. His arrest follows an investigation that started this summer.

The investigation spanned eight weeks. Police arrested Jacob Guerrero in September for his alleged crimes at the Wrentham Outlets. His arrest Monday night was for what police say they found after that.

“A mother and daughter reported there was a person acting strange, a man dressed as a woman wearing a wig,” said Wrentham Police Chief Bill McGrath.

When Wrentham Police responded to the outlets in August, where women reported a man behaving suspiciously in a women’s bathroom, an investigation began that would uncover far more sinister evidence. A witness photo showed what appeared to be pen cameras – recording devices – laced into the man’s sneakers.

Surveillance video soon led investigators to 23-year-old Jacob Guerrero of Woonsocket, Rhode Island. A search warrant gave police access to his phone, which contained photos and videos of child pornography.

“Some of the children he allegedly had on his phone were 8, 9, 10, 11 years old,” McGrath said.

“He had returned to a home that was on his route and actually filmed a child through a second story window,” McGrath said.

Investigators praised the original witnesses, girls shopping who noticed unusual behavior and did something about it, ultimately protecting other victims.

If you look at the attached image of a sign which was placed in toilets at the University Bristol, those girls shopping broke the rules. Isn't it a good thing they did?

If you're using a screenreader, the image says

If you’re in a public bathroom and you think a stranger’s gender doesn’t match the sign on the door, follow these steps.

Its like the high school student who was raped by a fellow student in the toilets. A boy in a skirt. The school board had introduced a "use whatever toilet matches your gender of the day" rule.
He raped a girl. She told teachers. They tried to cover it up and keep it within the school. The boy was moved to another school in the district, same board, same policy. He sexually assaulted another student.
Now the police are involved and he is in juvenile detention.

In a meeting with families about the policy, the superintendent of the schools said that they had never had a complaint about any indecent behaviour so there was no need to be concerned. The dad of the raped girl stood up and started shouting, got angry about him lieing and the dad was arrested by state troopers and removed.

It's awful.

But hey, it never happens. He superintendent actually said that the predatory trans person didnt exist.

They're people. Some will be hearts of gold, kinds, compassionate, caring. Some will be rapists and murderers.

I dont understand why being trans seems to put them above everything else and this "it never happens" line is gospel. Its madness.

Eyesofdisarray · 20/10/2021 09:07

It's men we've learned to be afraid of, not trans people. Men. Whatever they are wearing

Absolutely.

It's just the flip side of unfairly discriminating against people for being a member of [insert here] group and claiming everyone from that group does [insert awful thing]: unfairly favouring people from a group.

Same coin, but different people suffer when it lands on the unfair favour side. It needs to stop. To quote Terry Pratchett:

Just because someone's a member of an ethnic minority doesn't mean they're not a nasty small-minded little jerk.

This illustrates the big problem with the whole “be kind” and “if you think someone doesn’t belong in the bathroom they know better than you” messaging. It’s like liberal feminists have entirely forgotten what men are like, and instead are putting faith in an idealised reality. The sad fact is it’s obvious that male predators will take advantage of the tiniest loophole to get access to women and girls to abuse. I sometimes think this fact is so upsetting that it’s more comforting to pretend it doesn’t happen, and that if we all just get along happily then the world will be a better place. Feminists who are sceptical about men in bathrooms just aren’t trying hard enough, and are giving into misandrist assumptions that men are all bad! And yeah, I can see why one would want to think the best of men. But we just don’t live in that reality. I’ve mentioned before but this super quiet, diminutive guy I used to work with was arrested for filming hundreds of women and underage girls in public bathrooms. He had expensive, elaborate equipment and over a period of years spent hours a day gathering and editing his footage. He then uploaded it to porn websites. You would never in a thousand years have suspected him of anything , and yet just beneath the surface he was the kind of man who felt a compulsion to film women in the toilet whenever he “felt a bit stressed”. These men exist and there’s more of them than you think. Self ID will give them more opportunities. I really wish trans supporting feminists would at least be honest about this fact.

BatmansBat · 20/10/2021 10:16

Of course a male predator would decide to put on a dress and film women and girls in the toilets. Why are people surprised by this??

But one thing I don’t really understand, I thought that it was acceptance without question? And that cross dressers fell under the Stonewall trans umbrella ?

So this person is trans? So we actually have a trans predator?

Or am I missing something?

PurgatoryOfPotholes · 20/10/2021 12:21

In the words of Amnesty's new slogan I am who I say I am, so the moment he says he's trans, he is.

Then, depending on jurisdiction, he could apply to be moved to a women's prison if given a custodial sentence.

Where they might have group showers which will allow him to sexually harass female prisoners. [vomit]

In the words of Amnesty's new slogan I am who I say I am, so the moment he says he's trans, he is.

Coupled with 'acceptance without exception', what were they actually thinking?

It's obvious to any fool that saying you accept the word of all and any men who want to access women and girls, what you're allowing for.

It's my belief that women were just collateral damage in that thought process. Whether stonewall, GI, etc, knew men would deliberately lie, or not.

But how did they ever think that it would fly long-term? They must have known, if you are going to believe the word of any man, that sooner or later, the predators are going to outnumber the non-predators in a neon lit, klaxon- deafening, see it from space, kind of way.

foxgoosefinch · 20/10/2021 13:05

I think a lot of them are just not very clever - in the same way that they were encouraging each other to answer the census with “female” rather than male as birth sex, despite this being a massive own goal by effectively erasing themselves.

It’s surely obvious as you say, that when the whole “let any man in who says he is trans” comes to pass, that the widespread abuse of this by predators will cause a huge public backlash - cf the WiSpa guy, etc. - which will be far worse than just having sensibly campaigned for the provision of third spaces in the first place.

The overreach and monolithic, irrational extremism of the whole movement is the very thing that peaks the average person in the first place.
