Very good article. The comments are interesting too…

That's a really good article. Thank you for the share token. There is also a small article in the Scottish section by Melanie Reid tackling the removal of certain words in publications by the NHS or Scottish Government. And some interesting lyrics.

It seems readable without a share token.

Thank you for all these links.

Silver Lady's point is well made:

I hope that the police and Sussex university's lack of action against [Kathleen Stock's] abusers has nothing to do with both being compromised by their involvement with the lobby group Stonewall who insist on #nodebate and label those speaking out as bigots?

Good pieces both, and the Peggy Seeger lyrics are great. Caroline C-P meets Women won't Wheesht?

Yes, the lyrics really fit to both! "Here comes the invisible woman/ She’s been on the planet for years/ She has plenty to say, she won’t go away/ The invisible woman is here, here, here/ The invisible woman is here”
BeanieSue · 18/10/2021 14:51

I guess it's the amount of invisible women with their financial contributions that take some people unawares...so much so that they have to declare that the money has to come from some other powerful source.

Peggy was on Private Passions on BBC Radio 3 a few Sundays back. I had no idea her mother was a modernist composer, it's probably still available on the BBC site.
