I can't actually read what he's supposed to have Tweeted because I'm blinded by all the hyperbole.

I don't care what OJ has to say, he is largely irrelevant, often out of touch, and just lacking in any critical thought. He only cares about women when its an issue he can use to boost his own profile.

If lgb alliance were the subject of this podcast, OJ would claim it was "holding them to account." Like when he quote tweeted that worried mother. The tribalism is insane.

I'm so shocked that they have only quadrupled when the group has grown exponentially and the range of quite normal behaviours to be counted as a crime towards this group have way more than quadrupled.
Genuinely I wouldn't have been surprised if there were a ten fold increase when saying the wrong things to members of this group is treated with as much gravity as a threat of physical violence would be towards another protected group.

Probably not, the “hate crime”statistics include every incidence of TRAs reporting a Tweet or sticker they don’t like to the cops, which has of course increased since the cops started actively encouraging it. If there actually has been an increase in hate crimes, it’s impossible to tell because of the way the statistics are recorded.

It's about time that Tiny Owen realised that someone writing a tweet he disagrees with isn't actually a criminal offence.

Who gives a shiny shit what wee boy Owen thinks? The only thing he is good for is giving mole at the counter lots of material to work with. We all know he is a misogynist and a tool.

If you expand the definition of what is considered to be a crime, then crime will increase. If you make constant and unreasonable demands on behalf of a group of people then you increase hostility towards that group.

Stonewall is creating its own problems to campaign against.

If he genuinely believes that these crimes have risen so rapidly despite our government paying millions of pounds to Stonewall, then maybe he should concede that Stonewall are not doing a very good job.

Perhaps it's time for Owen to admit that LGB Alliance are doing much more for the civil rights of LGB people?

It is, of course, dreadful that homophobic crimes especially are on the rise and many posters on here also attest to that fact. I am sure that the current toxic atmosphere has been caused by the increasing agitation from the likes of Stonewall.

Homophobic violence has increased. LGB people desperately need an organization that focuses on their needs. OJ stands against the one that does in favour of the one currently being exposed as a charlatan protection racket that shits all over LGB people in favour of navel-gazing heterosexuals and kinksters.

I blocked him almost as soon as I went on twitter. Sexist, self-serving little hypocrite.

If there has been such significant rises in crime, and I'm not suggesting that the data is wrong, but it rather suggests that the work Stonewall has been doing isn't working terribly well either.

Basic marketing. Create a need/problem and provide the ‘solution’.

And he doesn’t seem to care that what women have been accusing Stonewall of for the past 5 years, has been found to be true. I expect if it was found Stonewall were advocating for the medicalisation of young children he wouldn’t care either. On wait….
