I thought Allison Bailey's tribunal isn't until April 2022 can anyone tell me what today's hearing is about?

Allison has just tweeted that today was a preliminary hearing.

Today we had a Preliminary Hearing in the case. It went very well. I will be able to share more details shortly. Thank you so much for your continued support.

Ah thank you, I checked her twitter earlier but that wasn't up yet. Good to read it went well.

It may well have been a case management hearing - i.e., deadlines for filing witness statements, exchanging documents etc. Wasn't there an issue with her opponents failing to produce some documents they were supposed to? It may have been about that??

Allison has updated with a few more details, OP.

We had a successful administrative hearing in my Tribunal claim against Stonewall and Garden Court on Tuesday 12 October. A number of case management issues were dealt with, the main one being that I have been given permission to pursue my claim as direct discrimination on the basis of my gender critical beliefs, as well as the existing grounds of indirect discrimination and victimisation. The trial is still on track to commence on 28 April 2022. I will provide a more detailed update in due course.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Looking good. Looks like Maya's win may have strengthened Allison's case :)

That’s good news. Such a long drawn out process for her.

That is really good news. Another win would really cement everyone's rights at work.
