The Guardian needs more pieces like this. Dr Nic and Natalie Washington, the campaign lead for Football v Transphobia put different views on transwomen in sport.

Unfortunate typo in the second paragraph, even by the Grauniad's standards:
The sports guidance concludes that female-only sport is bothl awful [sic - should be "both lawful"] and necessary to guarantee the fair and safe inclusion of women.

Maybe sporting bodies are though starting to conclude that female-only sport is "awful and necessary"?

It's come to something when I actually wondered if that typo was deliberate !

I'm sure it was deliberate.
