my Labour MP talking about misogyny

My MP, who is, to be fair, pretty decent, has just made a long long tweet about misogyny in reaction to the Sarah Everard case.
I feel so angry about this. She is Labour, and has just attended a conference where we have been told, in no uncertain terms, that we are not allowed to define ourselves. Among other things.
And only one lone voice was heard in support of Rosie Duffield.
How dare she start talking about misogyny when her party is riddled with it?

Are you in Bristol West by any chance?

AtrociousCircumstance · 01/10/2021 17:26

Tell her.

I hate Labour now.

Sorry. Just thought about my question and realised that you might not want to say where you live! I'm a member of bristol west CLP and on a private group where someone brought up Rosie's fears of attending the conference, my MP replied and said that she and others were working with Rosie and the Leader's office about her safety so I guess that is something. She's never ever said where she stands on issues such as self ID though.

You could ask her what her definition of misogyny is and see if it includes the word women?

Diaryofamadwoman · 01/10/2021 21:16

No point, just get the 'all women' waffle
