Helen Joyce speaking at Tory conference

So the Labour Party don't understand biology, and the tories have a fringe event with 'Helen Joyce, in conversation' hosted by Children & Women First.
Anyone know who they are? I haven't heard of them before.

How do you attend this? Is it possible? The tory party conference is 3rd to 6th October in Manchester.

I was quite amused by the idea of a Tory fringe event at the Labour conference...

Helen even managed to turn "not doing their fucking jobs" into "not doing their well-paid jobs" at the last second, to save being booted by the Baroness.

If it's classed as part of the conference then the tickets are now very pricey (there was a sliding scale for booking well in advance) and I think you have to be a party member unless you're press.

It might be just an associated event taking place at the same time though that can be accessed without being part of the main conference.

I've never to been to any sort of party conference so I don't really know how it all works.

That was a brilliant podcast. Helen Joyce's anger was palpable. Couldn't be arsed with Jean after a while, especially when she she waxed on about not abusing people you disagree with. Ahem and Posie was sharp and on her feet
