Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

Books like Trans, and others to highlight the incoherence of gender identity ideology

Hello women of the feminist board. I’m a long-ish term gender critical feminist. I’m usually a lurker rather than a poster.

I recently read Helen Joyce’s Trans and it was wonderful to see it all phrased so coherently. My husband is an ally and was utterly shocked by some passages I read aloud to him. As medical doctors, we were dismayed to read The Lancet’s latest offering, but heartened by how many of our colleagues agree.

If there are any similar reads to Trans that anyone could recommend, I’d appreciate it. Preferably something that’ll flow well even with frequent interruptions/make a good breastfeeding read.

Here’s my stranger request. I’d be very interested to read a short-ish debate-style book written from the side of gender ideologists. Partly to look back on my libfem days and wonder how I could have been so blind, but also, to pick out inconsistencies.

Feel entirely free to judge me for my second request. Part of me judges myself. But please do indulge me. I promise not to go over to the dark side.
