Biologically accurate book for 10 year olds

Hello, could anyone recommend a book for 10 year old girls on growing up that does not suggest girls can just change into books or vice versa. Because I have noticed this as a theme that I think misleading at this (or any?) age. I just want to show her something that is scientifically literate. Any advice?

.. I meant boys not books of course!

Any book published before 2018 should do it

How about: My period. How to find our flow and feel proud of your period, by Milli Hill.

There's a nice Usborne one with no gender woo.

We have the boys version of this which I havnt read carefully, but on flicking through seems to be fairly level.

I sought out a couple of older Usborne books, guessing editions from around 5-10 years ago. No discussion of the possibility of changing sex, very practical and scientific, positive about being gay or straight etc.

The Robie Harris ones were good, so if you can find an older edition I'd recommend that.

I second Milli Hill. My ten year old read it in two days and goes back to it regularly.

The Milli Hill book is excellent!

The usborne book "what's happening to me?" Is really good and factual, aimed at children this age, but not twee.
There's a boys' version and a girls'version. We have both, and they have a different focus for each, but still cover basics about the opposite sex.

Tried and failed (twice!) to post a picture of the one we have!
We have 'Understanding the facts of life' by Usborne after a recommendation on MN. Clear, factual, and written before the craziness. We got our copy from eBay.

The Dr Ranj book is surprisingly sensible, given that he's in the public eye.
