An unusual talk on surrogacy - three womens physios one is a surrogate.
I think surrogacy is morally wrong in all circumstances - but it was interesting to hear from someone who understands pregnancy in her work - so her choice to be a surrogate would have been very well informed and she was not being exploited for money. The pregnancy is spoken about as a wonderful and loving gift to her sister, but, she does say the cost to her was hard.
There is a mention of babies born to surrogates in India and Eastern Europe who are waiting to be "collected" because of covid. Sounds like this woman understands the wider issues but wanted to help her sister - which must be hard to rationalise.
Interestingly, she got pregnant weeks after delivering her sister's baby.
