Guardian interview with Angelina Jolie refers to "her son Shiloh"

This is getting ridiculous. In an interview several years ago Angelina or Brad told an anecdote about their daughter (who was maybe 3 or 4) asking to be called John. This, coupled with her preference for boys clothes, convinced certain TRAs that she was trans. Apparently so much so that Simon Hattenstone in the Guardian thinks she's now a boy!

The article has been corrected online but the print edition says "her son"

I suppose it's fortunate hardly anyone buys the print edition.

This family have played out in public precisely the watchful waiting approach. Angelina always seems to be a very child centred parent.
But I guess this is not the desired narrative to those people who want to believe that gender variance in children is a fixed state and should be medicated.

I think this error is as likely to be the journalist not knowing much about her children and assuming Shiloh was a boy’s name, as anything else.

I wore boys clothes almost exclusively as a child. The exception was the knitted skirt-suits my grandmother made me for dressy events.

I tend to prefer dresses and skirts a lot of the time now.
