Ali for leader.

I also got a call the other night from the local party group who asked ifi wanted to get more involved. I told them I'd joined in order to vote on the leadership. There was an odd silence and I'm still trying to work out if it was a GC silence of agreement or a TERF silence of disapproval. Oh well. I've voted. Have you?

@LumpySpacedPrincess I saw this on another thread: The election for a new leader runs for 3 weeks in September - and to vote in that you need to have been registered as a member by this Friday 27th Aug.

Thanks for the reminder, I kept meaning to hunt through my emails for the voting code (eventually discovered it in the deleted emails folder so I expect it went straight to junk). Have now voted.

I really hope that I will be able to vote Green in the next election but obviously that won’t be happening if the party doesn’t recognise my sex and the sex-based discrimination women face.

All of the other candidate teams have put lots of effort into pushing gender self-ID; Amelia Womack is behind disciplinary actions against women who question gender identity ideology. Carla Denyer was an organiser of the 'take-over' of Green Party Women by gender ideologists last year; GPW has since stopped all the good work it was doing (online workshops, book group, weekly yoga for key workers etc) and has only rarely communicated with its members. They only had one aim - and that was to delegitimise dissent over self-ID.
