How can a non-academic get access to SAGEjournals?

After a tip-off I'm doing some regarding someone who has strong direct connections to Peter Tatchell and also to one of the highly-biased members of the Welsh government's LGBTQI+ Action Plan. This individual has published a review on SAGEjournals of an Alison Phipps book.

Is there any way a non-academic can access the review?

Sage is a tricky one even with institutional access. Usually people ask if any of their contacts can log in.
Could you post the link here and I will see if I can get in - I currently have 3 different uni log-ins.

If it's the journal of sociology one that is quite adulatey reviewing 'me not you' i can access it.

Sometimes you can be lucky and the academics themselves will post pdfs of their articles to researchgate or academia.edu, so if you know who wrote it you can look them up - they are sites a bit like facebook or linked for academics.

Thank you: Sci-hub worked and I managed to access the article. Unfortunately quite a balanced review that slightly undermines Alison Phipps. I ferret on...

on twitter there used to be a hashtag #icanhazpdf where you ask for a pdf and someone with access sends it to you.

there are also plenty of academics here on mumsnet with full journal access, so next time put the full reference in your post & I expect one of us can find it.
