I think this is worthy of publicising on this board.

There’s a mysterious group out there called ‘TERFF’ and the police won’t tell us why it’s considered ‘anti-trans’.

It’s particularly alarming that the police refuse to be clear about the parameters of their investigations into ‘hate’. We have a right and a need to know.

Thats chilling. Its not a mistake or a misunderstanding.

Its all starting to look like a planned and co-ordinated campaign to abolish human rights as we understand them, using women and gay people as the scapegoats.
If that's not the intention, it needs to stop now, because that will be the outcome.

I’m with you @Thelnebriati, I think it is all highly suspect. And when people like Sarah Philimore (Spero?) are saying similar, we’re in good company.

The saving grace is there do seem to be a number of PCCs who have seen the sunlight.

Fair Cop themselves reported on a successful meeting with the Humberside PCC yesterday. Fingers crossed this all goes away PDQ.

It seems from that thread that not only are TERFF an anti-trans hate group but action taken against then is justified because of this - as confirmed by the police diversity officer.

If that is an example of the work of the Smarter Resolutions Team, I'd hate to see the work of the Dumber Resolutions Team.

That letter's embarrassing - it means nothing. The police don't have a clue and are evidently making it up as they go along. It just shows up the complete lack of substance and integrity. If they were honest and applied the law impartially, that would never have been written. But pandering to their Stonewall overlords means they come out with guff like this.
