Julie is a true badass. And - contrary to her public image - one of the most generous, thoughtful and kind people you could ever hope to meet.

Great review from Rachel Cooke. And it's Book of the Day too. Am encouraged that the Observer is much less in thrall to anti-feminist ideology than the Guardian.

Rather unusually for me, I've pre-ordered. I'm hoping that is something I can pass onto my daughter to read to give her a broad view of my approach to feminism. I'll also point out that I don't agree with Bindel on everything and see if she can work out where I have a difference of opinion.
