WRT the gender question, I wrote that I didn't "identify" as a gender but that my sex is female. In the space provided for opinions on ethical issues I stressed the danger of hypocrisy, and the long term implications of jumping on fashionable band-waggons (like the Stonewall Champions scheme that the Co op is in thrall to)

I was delighted with the LGB Alliance was formed and gladly support them with a monthly direct debit. In fact I doubled the monthly sum a while back, inspired by trolls who turned up here to warn us of the dreadful peril of supporting an organisation formed to protect the rights of same sex oriented people. We homosexual people need to look out for each other in this strange new homophobic world that tries to shame us with accusations of being genital fetishists because our orientation is sex based.

I also very much appreciate lesbianandgaynews.com To the extent of having bought a year's membership and just given a contribution to their latest appeal. It's so refreshing to have a trustworthy online news source that covers lesbian gay and bisexual issues.

Thanks for the tip about the survey. I bank with the Co-op and enjoyed reminding them that the sex based rights of women, the safeguarding of children and the rights of lesbians to exclude male people from their dating pool were all very high on my agenda.
