Former male wrestler plans to enter womens fitness competition

A former male wrestler has transitioned and is entering a body building competition as a woman but they obviously have all the advantages of large male muscle structure etc.
What is a female bodybuilder to be judged on if transwomen are allowed to compete? Is it on big muscles? In that case they'll obviously win.

At least we should be thankful that they are not wrestling against women but that is only by personal choice, they would be allowed to if they chose to do it.

What a cheap fraud. No self respect.

They were involved in the showbiz kind of wrestling before and are approaching this from the position of 'how do I max out the publicity from this as much as possible'.
Any regard for women's sport is the last thing on their mind.

Funny how many have replaced the word control with educate.

TheWeeDonkey · 22/08/2021 14:48

I thought South Park had already done this episode.

Those women are very musclebound, obviously, but they are still very feminine looking. Tuft is very masculine looking, and the efforts they have made to transition seem to emphasise that even more so I don't really know how it would work.

Those hands remind me of the dementor hands coming around the door on the train

@TheWeeDonkey

I thought South Park had already done this episode.
So did I.

I believe there are different criteria in each class ( a friend of mine was told she was too big for bikini class and should do fitness) so having massive muscles may not be that much of an advantage. There are separate looks for each category iirc.

It will be interesting to see what TW do with female bodybuilding comps as there has always been a focus on remaining feminine looking which I would imagine is harder with a male body even if hormones are taken. As with Hubbard I doubt the focus is on winning but achieving acceptance.

Disclaimer- I’ve never competed and the knowledge I had when I had female bodybuilding friends may have moved on now.

Indeed. This is all for what? money from interviews, PR etc as there's no way they can win.

Emanchego · 22/08/2021 16:23

He doesn't want to wrestle women cos that troll's already been done by Andy Kaufman.
