Yes, absolutely!
If you don't know anyone there at all, I'd suggest trying to find other MNers in the same position to meet up with there. (Or from any other groups you're involved with).
I went to my first feminist talk totally on my own, and spoke to women in the pub after who've become firm friends over time.
There are also stalls there so there's something to do in breaks if you don't feel like approaching women to talk to!
But, it's different to a party or whatever as we all have something in common, we're there for a reason, you don't need to do chit chat, necessarily. e.g. if you recognise women from a session you've been at, it's easy to ask them what they thought of it, it's a good conversation opener.
Or if there are women you recognise who are campaigning on topics you're interested in, they'll likely want to talk to you about it.
