There isn't a hope of the two boys being examined by female prison officers without a male officer there, no matter what regulations they put in place - not going to happen. They all know the score and the men will have their female colleagues backs. What is wrong though is the two being locked up 23 hours a day.

Why is the problem of how to accommodate Males who identify as women-falling to the Womens estate? Surely the Male estate has a duty to accommodate ALL Male prisoners, no matter how they identify.

Just as they have special units for 'at risk' males such as elderly/ex police/peodophiles etc. That is the only fair thing to do.

It is insane that mens prisons are single sex, while womens are mixed sex. Grossly unfair that some males can chose to be in a womens prison yet no women can chose not to be there.
