Have feminists brought this upon themselves?

I’ve heard this opinion so much lately, mostly amongst men who seem to be enjoying the struggle between feminism and trans-activism and the threat to women’s rights.

The opinion is that feminists have been attacking male spaces for years and now are getting their comeuppance.

Or that we’ve created the language of inclusion and gender that has led to this.

It’s a mean spirited attitude for sure. But is there any truth to it? Has feminism hoisted itself with its own petard?

I used to post on here years ago on a long since deleted account in the post Brexit days but I got a lot of abuse and vitriol thrown at me for being a member of ukip so I deleted my account.

Long since left ukip too, they ceased to have a reason to exist and became disfunctional after farage quit.

I don’t think feminism did this, I think the Centre left voters did this by voting for parties committed to making these changes that people here don’t want to see. There is a reason the situation in Scotland is different to England. A different government. Vote for who you like but don’t be surprised when you get what you vote for.

Anyway I’m done with it all now. Can’t fight anymore, got tired out by politics 2016-2019 and the time I have got left isn’t going to be spent on politics. Just thought I’d share that with you all as I still read this site from time to time.

It’s not at all feminisms fault, this problem lies in identity politics itself, some feminists stray into this however. When proponents of identity politics setup the firing squad to take out their oppressors they invariably do it by forming a circle…
