This was one of the survey questions on Pick My Postcode today, would be very interested in seeing the results & knowing who asked the question.

I clocked that too, there have been a few in a similar vein over the last week or so. Also wondering who is commissioning the questions

Anotheruser02 · 08/08/2021 16:36

Oh wow. I'm surprised anyone is allowed to ask that. I would LOVE to see the results.

Dragonglass · 08/08/2021 16:40

I had a couple of questions like this a few weeks ago.

GoodieMoomin · 08/08/2021 16:56

Results might be meaningful if they defined 'transgender'

They’re always very positive, right up to the moment when you clarify that 95% of transwoman have a penis and testicles and use female spaces. Right about then, the support drops right off.

A complete mystery why that should be, of course…

Congressdingo · 08/08/2021 17:27

I got this q yesterday and had a wry smile. Often in a few weeks the results are put on the first page by Chris. Not sure in this instance if it will.

EyesOpening · 08/08/2021 19:07

I got this too, hadn’t realised that everyone got the same question. I went back to it and got a different question, about gay and lesbian people. I had a question in a similar vein the other day and was quite surprised. Hadn’t expected people on here to be entering it either.

PaleBlueMoonlight · 08/08/2021 20:22

What is this for? Seems like a terrible question as doesn’t define what a transgender woman is. Many people would answer that thinking it meant a woman who is transgender.

EmbarrassingAdmissions · 08/08/2021 21:20

Was this asked as a standalone question or as a series in which more information was revealed?

SquashMinusIsShit · 08/08/2021 21:26

I think this was the first question, the second was about more rights for gay & lesbian people.

I got one the other day asking about more rights for transgender people.

I agree they are ambiguous & I expect the way I answer having frequented this board would be very different to someone else.

I would probably expect a lot of 'don't know' responses

I got that and put disagree strongly too Grin haven't had any trans questions before

Whatsnewpussyhat · 09/08/2021 00:25

The question should have been, 'do you think adult males who identify as women are women?' To leave no doubt about the sex of those the question refers to.

MoreJammyDodgersPlease · 09/08/2021 13:31

I got that question today! Where do they show the results? I don't think I've ever seen any survey results on there.

BritishSummertime · 09/08/2021 14:35

Today's question included whether people agree would agree with a policy of children under 18 being allowed to change gender 😤

If they do show result it's on the first page with the big amount, the main draw?

But you have to scroll down a little to see if Chris has bothered and they wont necessarily be a day or two after. More likely a month or more.

MoreJammyDodgersPlease · 09/08/2021 16:37

Thanks, Congressdingo, I'll start looking. I usually just ignore most of it.

highame · 09/08/2021 16:50

I'd love to know who's funding. Maybe Stonewall finding useful things to do with all that taxpayers money. The questions are really poor and lend themselves to major bias
