I've been off Twitter for a few weeks and just saw she was taking a break due to abuse for liking a tweet.
Also on a months sabbatical from the Observer .
Anyone here who can join the dots?

Sonia. You shouldn't have to put up with this shit.

A few years ago, there would have been organisations lining up to defend a journalist receiving abuse for doing her job.

Where are they?

On the right side of history apparently.

Seems that about a week ago she called out leftie male misogynists who were coming at her 'for playing the race card'- and then the pile on began in earnest . Difficult to piece together late and from bits and bobs but she seems to be saying leftist misogyny is rife and needed calling out.
