Joannz Harper was being interviewed. She had to admit that not every advantage goes.

Not sure who the anchor is but she was good. Totally non aggressive but asked the right things.

TV or radio? I'd like to listen / watch on catch-up.

That is the excellent and eternally overlooked Martine Croxall, who went to the one of the wrong universities and so never gets past the Beeb's Ivy League Ceiling.

She also asked why not a separate comp for trans - Harper said at most 1% are trans so not enough competitors.

So out of of 7.8 billion that would be a mere seventy eight million. Definitely couldn't get a few relay teams out of that. (my comment)

But if you compare to the paralympics, due to the category splitters, there are often too few competitors to need heats. If ghe number of competitors isn't an issue there why should it be for a trans/open category?

Ooo... I would love it if Martine Croxall of the sharp wit and soul piercing eyes was a woman of sense through and through. It would be nice to be pleasantly surprised by a Beeb journalist again.

That's fantastic Binglebong no issues, it's just me not knowing where to look. It was bound to get traction, which is what we want because there are no decent arguments to be had having XY in XX sports

I read it as a lack of competitors isn’t a problem in the Paralympics so it doesn’t have to be a problem in a Trans version

Yes, but depressing that we now think someone saying 'the earth is not flat' is a refreshing surprise.

Yes that's exactly what Imeant. If lack of competitors isn't a problem in one sphere, why is it in another?
