I love a good podcast and have been trying to keep note of all the ones mentioned in other threads that discuss women's sex based rights. I was wondering, if you know of a series or episode that covers this topic, could you please link it below so we can build a wee listening library? Thank you x

I listen to;

Triggernometry (series) www.triggerpod.co.uk

Filia Podcast (series) filia.org.uk/podcasts

The Mess We're In (series)

Feminist Current (series) www.feministcurrent.com/category/podcasts/

Also, does anyone know how you can download episodes from YouTube to your phone to listen to out and about? I can't subscribe to TMWI via my podcast app and listening via YouTube isn't ideal when you're on the move. Thanks

Sorry this one's a bit off-piste, but I really enjoy the This Jungian Life podcast about Jungian psychology. While I don't think the podcast has specifically addressed GC issues, one of the 3 analysts involved is quoted in Irreversible Damage as she's very concerned about the effect of "affirmation only" treatment and points out what poor practice that is. She's just published a book on motherhood I'm looking forward to reading (Lisa Marchiano).

CrossPurposes · 26/07/2021 17:15

Also, does anyone know how you can download episodes from YouTube to your phone to listen to out and about?

If you search for YouTube download audio there are ways of converting to MP3 without even downloading software.

Gender: A Wider Lens with Sasha Ayad and Stella O’Malley

I found this gender critical trans man's podcast lately, haven't watched much but seems like an interesting perspective on some of these issues: www.youtube.com/channel/UCg2Hrw2t8P-s_4WKKx_ShSA

I forgot Women's Voices.

I haven’t looked at her other guests yet but Ayaan Hirsi Ali had Helen Joyce on her podcast recently.

Also Brendan O’Neill of Spiked has his own podcast - he has had Julie Bindel, Posie Parker and Meghan Murphy on.

PatsArrow · 26/07/2021 22:38

Andrew Doyle did an amazing long interview with Helen Joyce recently.

Forgotten Victims by Crime Analyst, on the attacks by Peter Sutcliffe. Laura Richards is absolutely passionate on male violence being the problem and affecting women's lives.

One of the episodes is a belting interview with Julie Bindel.

TheWeeDonkey · 27/07/2021 08:20

I have been quite enjoying Heterodorx with Nina Paley and Corinna Cohn. They are very interesting people and able to handle some very serious subjects with a light touch, and they have some great interviews too.

StandUpStraight · 27/07/2021 09:18

Drs Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying touch on it often in their Dark Horse podcast, from a US perspective - some relevant clips:

Scout2016 · 27/07/2021 12:25

The DIG series often covers related issues like suffragettes, witch hunts, mental health biases (such as more borderline personality disorders tending to be given to women.)

This one is about tranquilizers being marketed to women

InsideNumberNine · 27/07/2021 19:26

Unspeakable did a few good episodes.

FightingtheFoo · 27/07/2021 20:15

I'd really recommend Blocked and Reported by Jesse Singal (who wrote a big Atlantic piece on detransitioners a few years ago) and Katie Herzog. They deal with tons of different things but unsurprisingly trans stuff comes up a lot.
