Precious Child: the Wii Spa transwoman

RoyalCorgi · 25/07/2021 18:39

This is from Glinner's Substack.

There was a lot of debate about whether there was really a transwoman in the changing room at Wii Spa or whether it was made up.

Someone called Precious Child has now made a video admitting to being the transwoman in question and attacking the transphobes and bigots who apparently libelled her:

www.youtube.com/watchv=upBNLanhJdU&ab_channel=PreciousChild

It's 17 minutes, but Precious Child talks about being the transwoman in question in the first minute.

I haven’t listened to the whole video but it doesn’t seem as if it’s a confession to me, the way PC says it at the beginning, it’s more of a “other people are saying I am the person”

The video's gone now, but PC did go on to say that yes, it was them.

Interesting, on Instagram when specifically asked, PC denied it!

I watched the whole thing and I don't see him confessing to anything. He is just ranting and laying the blame on other people, sadly.

PrincessNutella · 29/07/2021 03:11

I looked the video up on Youtube under Precious Child. It's still there.

The Guardian are running a story about the allegations being a hoax, and the incident never happening

"Precious child" appears to be about as credible as the woman who made up the incident in the first place.

Is that the defence now to adult males exposing themselves in a female only spa with children present? It didn’t happen, I don’t believe her, show me the proof. Did the woman involved also travel back in time to 2018 & write a review complaining about an adult male exposing himself in the same same spa? Excusing perverts & their perverted behaviour? The apologists for this shit ought to be ashamed of themselves.

"Precious child" appears to be about as credible as the rhetoric that the woman made up the incident in the first place.

There you go, I fixed it for you. HTH.

This is Mumsnet, home of the #believeher campaign, and this is the Feminism and Women's Rights board. Generally we believe women here when they say they have been sexually assaulted or harassed. There is no reason to believe CubanaAngel is lying, in fact there is plenty of evidence that suggests she isn't, as well as eyewitness evidence from a bystander of her making the complaint to the front desk.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 29/07/2021 08:10

I couldn't care less about what "Precious Child" does or doesn't say.

Potpourri23 · 29/07/2021 08:29

Why on earth would it be a hoax? The woman didn't say she'd been assaulted by the transwoman (because we all know that NEVER happens), just that she had her dick out.

Women can have penises, right? So why wouldn't you see a woman with a penis in the women's changing room? Why would that be a "hoax"?

You're really telling on yourselves.

somethinginoffensive · 29/07/2021 08:35

Which bit was supposed to have been made up?

Was the woman pretending there was a man exposing himself? In which case that could have been easily sorted by the spa by taking her seriously and checking it out.

Or was it that it happened but the staff responses of it being okay that were made up? In which case the real staff could have released a statement that it was a hoax.

Or was it the people saying it's fine for a man to be naked wherever he wants to be as that's the law in California? Surely the police would clarify that such a ridiculous law isn't true.

Or were the riots defending either side made up?

None of this makes any sense at all.

Whatwouldscullydo · 29/07/2021 08:52

But this is what activists have campaigned fir and their laws have had written in. This is absolutely a situation that has been allowed now.

So why deny it? This "right" is exactly what activists wanted and are defending.

If it didn't happen then it will happen at some point.

There's zero point in calling anyone a liar it's a situation that is entirely plausible

Pretaxanger · 29/07/2021 09:41

Fascinating how the Guardian reporting has become about this unconnected person who inserted themselves into the story with agressive and misleading social media posts. They have now got a full length photo in the Guardian on the back of their irrelevance! Rewarded for their hoaxing!

And the actual complainant is just repeatedly smeared for her beliefs, and called a hoaxer to try to discredit.

It's completely back to front.

suggestionsplease1 · 29/07/2021 09:42

I think this thread title is really problematic - the video posted really does not seem to be any admission that the person in it was the person in question at Wi Spa - just, as other posters have noted, that that is what has been reported about them.

Given that they have clarified that themselves in other interviews that they never actually been to the Wi Spa, and they are describing the online abuse they are receiving from this specific misrepresentation of them online (which would appear to be what the title of this thread is doing), I think Mumsnet need to think about this thread.

Bosky · 29/07/2021 10:12

I think “Precious Child” needs to have a think about stringing people along with ambiguous non-denials that garnered a shed-load of free publicity for their creepy, misogynistic “video art” posing.

Datun · 29/07/2021 10:12

It's very interesting that there are so many people wanting to deny it happened. Clearly, they see the concept as unacceptable as everyone else.

Good to know.

Whatwouldscullydo · 29/07/2021 10:14

If a spa allows little girls and women to be exposed to male genitalia without consent ( and underage girls can't consent at all) then it's not the thread that's problematic

Quite. I’m sure there originally was a tweet or something, claiming to be the person in the spa.

I agree. The Guardian is a joke.
