Katy Montgomerie has suggested that someone (not Katy, obviously) should shadow Baroness Nicholson with a sign stating her voting record on gay marriage (on which she has since changed her mind) at the SFW picnic.

Yes, ribbons are scary and threats of violence, as are tweets. But according to Montgomerie, standing beside a woman in her 80s with hearing and sight difficulties is no issue at all and GCs are making a fuss over nothing. Like Karen says, we all know it's not likely to end with someone just standing there holding a sign.

There is a real disconnect between the sweet, smiley "feminist" persona that Montgomerie projects, and the things that Montgomerie actually says and does.
