Without the T. Is it a reference to athletes' testosterone levels?

What dos this signify?

What does it say underneath? Where’s it from?

allmywhat · 17/07/2021 16:16

Means “Drop the T” I’m guessing.

Haricot · 17/07/2021 16:17

It’s T for Trans

Megasausagehead · 17/07/2021 16:25

Where did you find it?

GettingUntrapped · 17/07/2021 16:27

Tell us more.

Megasausagehead · 17/07/2021 16:31

There is a post on twitter about it

What dos this signify?
OhHolyJesus · 17/07/2021 16:55

If you can have one alphabet soup you can have several versions.

JellySlice · 17/07/2021 17:01

Yes it's the shirt on Posie's website.

Looks like some kind of visual joke about t-inclusivity and the reverse.

CervixSampler · 17/07/2021 21:25

It's the "T minus" T-shirt.

picklemewalnuts · 17/07/2021 21:56

I don't like that, out of context. The young trans person I know would see that as aimed at excluding them from everything, rather than just from things that are specifically for the other sex.

With a context, like get the T out of women's sport, spa's, prisons etc then fine.
Stand alone? Not so fine.

Anotheruser02 · 17/07/2021 22:04

I see what you mean pickle, the T doesn't need to not exist, it just has to stop pretending it's the same as W and trying to rub W out.

KohlaParasanda · 17/07/2021 22:16

I saw it on a mug and assumed that it meant, "The tea is inside the mug, here's the rest of the alphabet on the outside." Feeling very wet behind the ears now.

It's not something I'd wear/display. I want to send a message that I'm strongly FOR something (women's rights), not that I want to eliminate a group of people.

ErrolTheDragon · 17/07/2021 22:26

@Anotheruser02

Yes, or that it's something that should always be put together with LGB.
Anotheruser02 · 17/07/2021 23:08

Yes, or that it's something that should always be put together with LGB.

This too definitely.

MingeofDeath · 18/07/2021 00:47

You know what Pickle, I'm close to the point where I dont give a fuck about transpeople. I have a strong suspicion that I'm not alone in that. This is what transactivism is doing and the transpeople who just carry on with their lives without screaming about pronouns and other shite are going to suffer.

JellySlice · 18/07/2021 01:29

Yes, Anotheruser, Kohla and Errol , I agree,

OP posts:
picklemewalnuts · 18/07/2021 08:02

I know, Minge. Unfortunately feeling like that, however understandable at this stage, supports the paranoid perspective TRAs drive.
The youngsters we're concerned about have the egocentricity of youth, but still deserve our protection.
The older folk, well I'm sorry but they should know better!

CousinKrispy · 18/07/2021 08:31

Good points, pickle.

CardinalLolzy · 18/07/2021 08:45

I agree it's unnecessary, I certainly don't want to get rid of trans people, particularly if that includes people for whom " the concept of gender is not relevant to their identity" (ie part of the nhs definition of non-binary) as I suspect that would include of us!

MingeofDeath · 18/07/2021 10:24

I don't to be feeling like that Pickle, I really don't but it's where I am heading if this bullshit carries on.

oldwomanwhoruns · 18/07/2021 18:41

I'm with @MingeofDeath

They threaten rape, death, cancel us.
We simply remove the T.

Literal violence...
