Bumping this up as it's probably worth responding to the call for evidence, even with their stupid notion of men having menopause.

Outbutnotoutout · 16/07/2021 10:44

I can't see where you go for the consultation

Keepemguessing · 16/07/2021 10:49

Bump

The scope of the inquiry is outlined in one of the screenshots in the Twitter post.
To respond to the call for evidence, you email them directly with your submission.

The Menopause APPG is seeking evidence for our inquiry into Menopause. Please read the terms of reference attached and submit any written evidence to [email protected] by SEPTEMBER 30TH

I've just read some of the comments. They want to discuss people who are not women's experience of menopause.
It's starting to feel more and more like a cross between The Emperor's New Clothes an The Handmaid's Tale Confused

Here’s some more information - speaking as a menopausal woman, it sounds pretty good to me : menopausesupport.co.uk/?p=14722

And if they can get some feedback from men, good. Understanding men’s attitudes and knowledge of menopause will help to inform the design of public education on the issue.

Theeyeballsinthesky · 17/07/2021 12:24

I think her intention is absolutely spot on but immediately in the comments “I hope you include the experiences of people in menopause who are not women” and the instant “yes we want all people who experience menopause to be involved”

Only one sex experience menopause and those are women and already they are stating with the “ppl who experience menopause” nonsense

We’ve seen how this goes with other health issues that only affect women like cervical cancer. The word women will get erased, menopause groups will be pushed to include TW and so it goes on.

Weary experience says that that’s exactly what will happen here
