Porn - filmed in women-only spaces

Being fairly new to having had my eyes opened, I’ve spent the past few weeks lurking, reading and starting to post here and there.

Today, my eyes have been opened even further. Thanks to @hellofabore posting an archived tweet on another thread.

I couldn’t get all the way to the end of the series of tweets, I literally had to stop myself throwing up. Those images keep popping into my head and I don’t want them there. How the hell can this type of thing be happening, and yet still there are many people saying that women-only spaces should be accepting of everyone?

And then to increase the danger of this, with any male being able to self-id. And still some people can’t see a problem with it. It has made me feel really low today.

How on earth do we fight things if even those images are not enough to dissuade people from stating that there is no issue regarding people with a penis being in a women-only space?

On a positive note, I actually broached the topic with a couple of family members on a call today. I started with getting them to check out the library rainbow monkey as an example of a thought-provoking news item and then segued into a couple of points regarding self-id/upcoming olympics. Not a long conversation, but enough to encourage them to pay closer attention to future news items that they may have scrolled by normally. So, not much in the greater scheme of things, but I feel good for having broached it.

It helps to remember that its a form of exhibitionism and doesn't count as porn because its non-consensual; its about breaking boundaries. It's an illegal activity. If anyone else was to try to use the facilities they'd be a victim of sexual abuse, not engaging in a consensual sex.

Oh I know.

The breaking apart of women only spaces benefits no-one apart from male sexual predators namely voyeurs, men with AGP, flashers and men with other fetishes.

Well done trans activists!

You have failed to help actual trans people (by campaigning for safe trans spaces) instead of which you have made women far less safe and given perverts an orgasmatron.

Slow hand clap.

Well, we have seen Furries that many people simply don't believe that it happens.

There are people now on twitter stating that it is popular for women to masturbate in toilets, changing rooms and at work.... I would really, really like to know why they would think this is true.

Mulletsaremisunderstood · 11/07/2021 21:33

Hi OP, I know the feeling of being overwhelmed by the utter ridiculousness of it all. And the fact that so many people don't even see, or maybe don't want to see what sinister motives lie behind all this. All we can do is keep talking and giving sunlight to it.

I'm in complete awe of some of the wonderful women who are fighting the good fight everyday on here and in other places.

Some days I need to step back and take a break from it, because it makes me so sad that it has fallen this far. And that so many young women seem to happily support this; so quick to give up their rights, and their spaces and their identity to anyone who wants it.

I do think in years to come people will look back on this as some sort of collective madness....I just worry about the damage that will be done in the meantime.

Well done for talking to people in real life, this is how we push back, once people in the real world start to understand the madness it will (hopefully) lose momentum.

As for this - There are people now on twitter stating that it is popular for women to masturbate in toilets, changing rooms and at work...
It sounds like some warped male fantasy Angry.

Helleofabore · 11/07/2021 21:41

Well mullets, I would agree except it is a female tweeting it and one known to have posted here on MN and is very proud of being someone educating young people about sex and gender identity.

Yes , I stupidly had a quick look at that thread. So much for shy reserved people!

We just have to keep plugging away OP, and repeating Safeguarding, Safeguarding, Women's Rights, Women's Sports, Women's Prisons, Women's Refuges... And keep on saying it.

It's a really common thread on this board - we all hit a point when we become aware of this anyone-can-be-a-woman madness. And then we think, that we just need to tell other people (our friends), and they will instantly Get It!! Easy.

But they don't. They read the Guardian, so they all insist that this is not going on. That we are exaggerating. That we are making up the facts.

If anyone has found the secret word to get through this credibility block, do let us know... It doesn't help that we are (mainly) women. Men are believed more :-(
