I know it the Mail - but another example of the ridiculous situation we are in. A dangerous man (working for the police..) is recorded as female for his crime.

tbh, I misunderstood. I assumed that acknowledgement of a particular perspective was built in and that the information was still useful because its sources are openly available and can be verified.

Plus, as somebody once pointed out:

I mention this as I should think that if I've misinterpreted highame then the remedy might be for highame to put together examples where transcrimesuk is mistaken and ask for them to be corrected.

I think highame simply used the wrong word.
Transcrime has an agenda, which is clearly stated 'Documenting crimes committed by transgender individuals in the U.K.'

It's free of the ridiculous IPSO rules re 'gender' vs sex, so can report accurately unlike the press (though the DM watts piece was a particularly egregious example of being misleading )

The transcrime site shouldn't be necessary, the data ought to be captured in official records and statistics but isn't.

What I meant was that I didn't know how accurate it was in terms of the organisation. I didn't want to be posting a link to something that was 'anti-trans' rather than GC.

I see your point, Highame, but as long as the information is correct I don't mind who posted it. Honesty and accuracy are what matters.

What I find truly biased, and unacceptable, is the authorities forcing witnesses (including victims) and reporters to pretend male attackers are women. I think we agree on that.
