I recently purchased this book, which I believe is self-published by the author, and I've found it to be a very good resource, especially I think for explaining the issue to other people who are new to the debate. It's simple but thorough in its explanations and has good source references to back up the authors words.

It might be one to recommend to people who are asking about why this debate matters and why the rights of women and girls must be upheld.

It's available very cheaply on Amazon at the moment, 99p for Kindle and around £5 for the physical book (which is quite substantial and worth the price) and I believe it's worth buying the physical copies of books which may become targets of cancel culture if you can. One unverified bad review that's basically just a repeated slur and I doubt that person bought or read the book, but the other reviews are positive.

Oh thanks. I'll take a look. One of the marvellous unexpected side effects of this entire shitshow is the great outpouring of feminist literature whether by book, post or online. My feminist bookshelf is turning into a feminist bookcase and I'm loving it.

Thank you. Like you Oldturtle my bookshelf is very feminist! I stopped buying books a few years ago for myself and used the library instead but that has all changed!

I am the same, my book buying has taken a strong feminist turn just lately.

I'm also trying to buy physical copies as some books have been 'disappeared' due to cancel culture, Amazon have refused to sell some of them or let independent sellers sell those books through their site, even WH Smith took a recent order from me and then cancelled it saying they were unable to get a copy. Waterstones came through with no problems I'm pleased to say.

I feel like it's important at the moment to support the authors, and to have the books, and so yes, my shelves are slowly filling with feminist books and it's great.
