Fucking ridiculous

Avon and Somerset Police, the UK's third biggest Stonewall funder

Of course they fucking are. How many SW points was this worth, I wonder?

PurpleHoodie · 07/07/2021 16:17

12?

PurpleHoodie · 07/07/2021 16:22

Stonewall are fast becoming an absolute joke amongst Lesbian, gay and bi-sexual people however, so their endorsement will mean the sum of fuck all soon enough.

Bring on LGB Alliance worldwide, for those who endorse homosexual Rights.

Even for those who don't support homosexual Rights; they endorse sex-based sexuality.

Which is all good - even for heterosexual people.

PurgatoryOfPotholes · 07/07/2021 16:30

And... fully funded! Nice work, women.

Digging seems to have been halted. Is this down to the campaign owner (because target was reached) or something more nefarious?

OffYouGoNow · 07/07/2021 16:34

The target has been met and no more pledges are being taken.

highame · 07/07/2021 16:43

Tail wagging the dog (no not a username). I wonder if the Police refer all their cases where women are involved, to SW. It would explain the low prosecution rate for rape. Police are showing us just how independent they are

Nuffaluff · 07/07/2021 16:46

Why is it always women who are targeted?

Any real journalist worth their salt could have Pulitzer Prize out of that investigation.

OvaHere · 07/07/2021 16:58

@Nuffaluff

Why is it always women who are targeted?
I would say disproportionately rather than always. Harry Miller is the most widely known example. Perhaps because of Harry they are more careful to target women, especially mothers who are less likely to have resources to fightback.
severnboring · 07/07/2021 17:46

Oh, this Avon and Somerset Police?

www.thetimes.co.uk/article/avon-and-somerset-police-paid-stonewall-thousands-learning-to-be-lgbt-ally-zdqnnvmdn

'It spent £8,000 — £2,500 for its annual membership of the charity’s diversity champions scheme for employers, and a further £5,250 for a Stonewall Allies training programme in January 2020.'

www.faircop.org.uk/beware-thought-police-are-operating-in-your-area/

'Our systems record the gender of individuals coming into police contact. These may be self-identified or recorded by the officer according to their observations. We will always ask what gender a person identifies with and deal respectfully according to their wishes.'

medium.com/@elsaegret/meet-the-people-training-uk-police-on-trans-issues-191e46b18246

'Another West Country fan of hate speech against women is local radio DJ Cheryl Morgan, who trains Avon and Somerset Police. Morgan characterised women who disagree with transgender ideology as ‘an infestation’.''

There is a new PCC - time to write if you're local. What a joke - police threats for saying publicly something that someone already said on TV! That poor woman and her children. This has got to stop.

And, just why have you come to the opinion that the GRA should be repealed?

For nonsense like this case. And the fact that so many far-sighted people anticipated the consequences of the Act, were assured that their apprehensions were unfounded and never come to pass, and, yet here we are.

The marriage, pension and other inequity issues have been addressed with other legislation.

We need a discussion about EqA 2010 and its adequacies but GRA 2004 can not stand.
