Saw this update about the recent bother the SU at Bristol have been giving Raquel: https://unherd.com/thepost/at-bristol-university-feminists-are-under-attack/. She did this Filia podcast with the Cambridge Radical Feminist Network back in January where she mentioned the opposition her women's group had faced, and it looks like the SU has escalated it's behaviour.

This is in addition to the uni's apparently discriminatory tolerance of the bullying she's endured, which she is taking them to court over (gardening needed)!

Poor Raquel. She's been treated so very badly, and I am horrified by the sheer entitlement and intolerance these insufferable people have shown.

Where can we go to do a bit of digging Maud?

JoyousAsOtters · 06/07/2021 21:18

I think she may have a crowd justice one going @dyslek

You're right JoyousAsOtters, but you need to be careful to get the current one, because the her solicitor changed law firms. It's the one with 'enabled' in the title, rather than 'permitted'. Thanks

You don't need to be 'careful' actually, you just can't dig on the old allotment 😬

One very brave and determined lady, kudos to her, what she has had to put up with with no support or help from the University is abhorrent. So much for be kind, inclusive and supportive, hypocrites the lot of them.

I've just read an email which says the trial is scheduled for next month (7th to 14th)

Unsurprisingly, the costs have spiralled due to Bristol Uni dragging their feet. I've just done a bit of digging, they have a stretch target up.

Sorry to be so oblique.
