Boring toilets one. Can't tell if this was a covid thing or inclusive policy but just been to one of their sites and used the loo. Both were labelled unixex with a sheet of printed paper stuck over the proper signs.

I clearly went into the men's as they had urinals. I felt really uncomfortable. Totally inappropriate.

Are they known for a new policy? Should I query this?

You could tell them your five year old daughter walked in to see a man urinating. Might make them think for the two seconds required to see that this is an utterly stupid idea.

Or perhaps your teenage son walked on on a woman washing out a mooncup. Perhaps the latter would be better as otherwise you run the risk of them removing the men’s mixed-sex sign cover and having men’s and mixed sex.

I think you should complain and ask what was going on.
Could have been something innocent like the women’s was out of action- in which case they should temporarily block access to the urinals so men don’t use them in full view of women.

I really don’t think making up things that didn’t happen is the way to go. Pointing out that they COULD happen, sure.

No I wouldn't make anything up. Definitely no out of order sign or issue. I walked in thinking maybe it was a one cubicle room and realised it wasn't after a few steps. thankfully nobody was in there before me.

Yes I think I will drop them an email. Covid seems to have added another layer of confusion onto everything.

Its definitely Ladies and Gentlemen at my nearest site. They have less toilets available than usual as the inside space is still closed. Usually it is Ladies x2 Gents x2 and 2 mixed sex accessible toilets which are large rooms with toilet, sink, disability aids and baby changing.
