No. 10 worried because it doesn't want to look bad to the LGBT community, but it's ok to look bad to women? - our bloody vote counts

The review, led by Lord Callanan, the business minister, is focusing on whether the programme provides value for money. It will reconsider both the participation of the department and that of dozens of quangos it oversees, including the Competition and Markets Authority and HM Land Registry. The department renewed its membership of the Stonewall scheme in November.

We have heard from several parents who are concerned about their son or daughter's school 's approach to gender identity in teaching and promotional materials. Some of you may be interested to see letters we have written on their behalf to three schools in Bristol- Fairfield, Cotham and Cathedral.
We have referred to recent DoE guidance and the Kiera Bell and Maya Forstater legal cases to support parents- but it will take a long time for these case results to percolate down into schools -
We would like to hear in confidence from anyone who shares these concerns - contact details on our blog
