Not clear if they totally supported the Save Women's Sport protest but anti lockdown right to rave marchers loved the rythm of the chants

Whole video here

They got a mostly great reception from the rave crowd. Virtually nobody thinks men in women's sports is okay.

There appeared to be about 3 people who disagreed offering some really daft arguments which look even more stupid in person than when made online.

I'm.gonna be having that in.my head all day now...

FlyPassed · 28/06/2021 07:12

Thats has honestly made me feel a bit teary. Well done Dr Long and crew!

Awareness = raised!

Great to see so much support, and absence of aggressive opposition. Lots of young people, too. I wonder if there's a bit of a division between the kind of young people who are into love music, who socialise irl, who dance and sing and use their bodies and create music, and those who spend lots of time in online communities and ruminating over their identities

MingeofDeath · 28/06/2021 07:12

Very impressed by the support of the ravers. Loads of support from young women as well. Extremely heartening.

Nonmaquillee · 28/06/2021 07:52

This has made my day!! Thanks for posting. Lovely also to see “young folk” 😆 really enjoying themselves.

PurpleHoodie · 28/06/2021 08:31

RadandMad · 28/06/2021 10:08

This has made my day. Go, terf islanders!

Clymene · 28/06/2021 10:18

Most people don't think men belong in women's sports. So glad to see the awareness raising and good humour

Cailleach1 · 28/06/2021 10:27

First the Spanish women's 'get your testicles out of our tournaments'. Or no balls in our competitions.

Now we have 'XY has a willie/penis, he's a man'.

Maybe we could have a type of Eurovision for these reality anthems?

CharlieParley · 28/06/2021 11:17

Thanks for posting that! Just watched it with DH and we're both quite cheered by that. Lots more support from a younger crowd than I would have expected.

IIRC, surveys typically show that less than 1 in 5 are in favour of self-id. The sport question was asked only once, I think, and support for male inclusion in female sports didn't get much above 1 in 20.

So I would expect this to be an issue where "this is going too far" will be a common reaction.

WhatyoutalkingaboutWillis · 28/06/2021 12:10

BRILLIANT! So wish I were there.

NZGC · 28/06/2021 12:40

Wonderful to watch. Thank you.

PurpleHoodie · 28/06/2021 15:17

So nice to see such a varied mix of women as well.

Younger. Older. A mixture of ethnicities. Good to see the male support; from within the group, and the other protest.

stumbledin · 28/06/2021 15:20

Thanks for the youtube link - much better - and I hope being widely shared!

But...but...I thought we were just 5 middle class, white, straight, old spinsters with 200 sock accounts each?! Grin

This is great to see!

Skinnytailedsquirrel · 28/06/2021 15:33

Great to see some action and hear them calling out Laurel Hubbard.

PurpleHoodie · 28/06/2021 15:56

I mean.

"Wot, wot...hooray yah'. They don't want to follow wot' we sayyyy. Accept the penises in your spaces, huh. And be subjected to all our rules. Yip, yip. Ungrateful little white, brown, black whelps"

On an electric train.

The same crowd overlap in hating Womens Rights.

Some pictures of the March including the moment when a raver with an inflatable penis came to show her support for the women protesting.
