"Canadian sports recommendation allowing athletes to change their gender category between seasons in different sports, so male can compete as man in volleyball at spring and then as a woman in running at autumn"

My post from another thread:

This is how fucked up Canada is. In 1988, Canadian sprinter, Ben Johnson, won the 100m Olympic title, but was subsequently disqualified and banned for doping violations. Such was Canada's national shame, that various ethical organisations cropped up to tackle the issue of cheating in support, which then merged to become the Canadian Centre For Ethics In Sport. This was the main governmental organisation ensuring that Canadian athletes stayed clean and competed on an ethical footing. In 2014, however, in their annual statement, they said that male athletes who identified as female should never have to take a single hormone or have any surgery, and should be allowed to identify as a male in one sport and a female in another. This is now U-Sport Canada's (their sports governing body's) official policy. Men can flip back and forth between male and female sports in Canada. Just unbelievable.

This is an excellent interview with Canadian Coach, Linda Blade:

Absolute insanity.

Canada truly is the most misogynist 'liberal' country in the world

Do you have a source for this please? It's the kind of thing I'd like to be able to wheel out in discussions where people think that all TW have reduced testosterone (and that this puts them on a level playing field with women but that's another point Hmm )

@IAmAWomanNotACis if you scroll through the twitter link in the OP, there is evidence in there. Plus, in the interview I linked, Linda Blade takes you though the history of what has happened in Canada, including what I posted above, and how that fed into the IOC decision of 2015 to allow self ID. She has written a best selling book on the topic called "Unsporting: How Trans Activism and Science Denial are Destroying Sport"

Also see the N=8 website:

"N=8" denotes the number of male born runners it took to change the rules of sport for ALL female athletes in the world across ALL sports.

Also, there was an article in the Guardian yesterday about CC Telfer, denied a place in the Olympics because their testosterone is not low enough, but still taking the place of natal girls in the domestic field. The IOC and IAAF testosterone rules are much stricter than many countries' domestic requirements. However, getting anywhere near an Olympic trial requires you to be able to train, compete and win at domestic level first. So, girls are having to basically train and lose, train and lose, and hope that the transboy that keeps beating them won't make the testosterone grade for the internationals. How many girls will just lose and lose and then give up altogether? Here's yesterday's discussion on the article:

Honestly as a Canadian I am feeling more and more alienated from the whole culture. It's like some kind of giant festival of virtue signalling at every moment.

There isn't even any real political choice.Little Justin. Fake ethnic Justin. And the Conservative numb-nuts. You know it's bad when you wish Boris Johnson was the head of our CP so you could at least feel it was being run by someone with a quarter of a brain and consider voting for them.

There's a cricketer in the UK who plays on the men's and the women's team I think...!

Also a police officer with both a male and female police id.

This isn't just Canada.

To the pp Google the body and have s hunt. Their policies will be online.

Yes Blythin says they have a condition which causes a naturally low level of testosterone meaning they can play in the women’s team without having to lower their testosterone at all.
